Definition:
Zettelkasten is a German word, translating to “note box.”
Zettel is a slip of paper or a note. Kasten is box. In this case, the box is an organized filing system that keeps like minded Notes grouped/categorized in one place.
Structure:
A Zettelkasten is made up of 3 types of notes: Literature Notes Reference Notes Permanent Notes
